Access

NOTE: As Mr. Brown has recently died, and the farm will be put up for sale soon, there is currently NO ACCESS to the mine. DCA are in discussions with the agents to inform them of the long-standing access agreeement, and will update as soon as we have more information.

In third field to the right of Moorbrook Lane, and second field up from Granby Road. Steel lid on loop hinges with no lock. 13m entrance shaft with fixed metal ladder. Second 4m pitch has metal ladder for some of the drop, but is a fairly easy free-climb - anchor for lifeline.

Call on Mr.Brown at Within House Farm. £2 charge for parking and permission to cross land. Please do not block nearby roads if parking elsewhere, as they are very narrow and tractors may needs access to property.
