Access
Small spring with a modified outlet in the small copse of trees near the gate, resurging due to the outcrop of the Cavedale Lava. Gammarus pulex freshwater shrimp have been observed in the water. A smaller spring also emanates on the opposite side of the dale on the same lava bed and is captured by an ancient stone trough.
