Access
Park in Good Luck layby and head up the path, past the right turn for Good Luck Mine, and continuing past the left-hand offshoot for Upper Cawdor Slack Mine. Not long afterwards, before where the path takes a very sharp right and heads off further upwards, there is a hardly-used path on the left that can just be seen which should be followed for a few minutes (taking care along its narrow, winding and slippery route), before the adit will appear set back to the right.
Beware of an uncapped shaft on the right just beforehand, in the undergrowth. Extreme caution is needed inside as there are several winzes, one of them with a dubious looking 'bridge' made out of planks, being the only way over.
