Slaley Sough

Entrance of Slaley Sough

Access

No known access restriction. Situated on the steep wooded valley side about 100 yards west of the disused Parrish Quarry. Parking as for Goodluck Mine. Walk along the road towards Cromford, passing Tufa Cottage on the left. After 300 yards pass Bonsall Leys Level on the left - large entrance normally discharging water - and 100 yards further on turn left and ascend the valley side for 60 yards or so. The entrance is at the back of a small flat area at the top of the mine waste.
